Ian Meikle
Ian
is the Managing Director of Eversley Ventures Inc. He started out life in
the British Army, and during his 15 years in the service he was involved in many
practical and outdoor activities including unarmed combat, Outward Bound, winter
survival in Norway and jungle warfare in Malaysia.
Ian played
Rugby and during his career played for the combined services and was a member of
the Hong Kong International team whilst stationed with the Army there in 1972.
He subsequently played first class rugby with Ayr in Scotland and London Irish
in England. When he retired from playing he took up coaching and has coached
successfully at all levels. He has been a founder of 3 rugby clubs during his
career and still has a passion for the game.
Ian has
around 30 years of international sales experience in the semiconductor and
related hi tech industries. He has held several senior management positions,
servicing mostly international markets, and worked in Asia for 16 years. He has
previously established and been managing director of several subsidiary companies in Asia on behalf of US corporations.
Ian has
experience in planning and directing sales meetings, managing projects, and has
planned and directed a variety of training programs in a corporate environment.
Ian moved
permanently to the Philippines in 2006 and is now a founder and the Managing
Director of Eversley Ventures Inc., a Makati based company focusing on Team
Building, training and running events.
Peter Stevens
Peter Stevens is Operations Director of Eversley Ventures and is responsible for
all operations in Mindoro. He lives in Puerto Galera, where he has been for more than 10 years, and has been Commodore of the Puerto Galera Yacht Club.

Peter was in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force from 1976 to 1997 where he reached the rank of Senior Superintendent before taking early retirement on the handover of the Territory.
Peter was an instructor at the Police Tactical Unit in charge of all the training teams (around 30 men), plus running numerous exercises to test the companies under training.
During this time Peter instigated and implemented a complete change and modernisation of the way in which the training was carried out, moving from a very rigid, drill-based system to a very flexible, initiative-based one.
Peter was transferred on promotion to Staff Officer Counter Terrorism (SO CT), Police Headquarters. For a period of two and a half years Peter was the policy advisor and staff officer for the Commissioner of Police on all matters pertaining to international terrorism as it might affect HK.
Peter is a PADI qualified Divemaster. In 2004 Peter joined a Raleigh International expedition to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, where he was Logistic Manager. As such he was responsible for all equipment requirements and food for 130 venturers and staff who were spread throughout the State in some very remote locations, for 3 months.
Peter also enjoys, Birdwatching, keeping fit, walking, bad golf, sailing, diving, competition combat shooting and fishing.
